We are looking for a Credit Risk Model Methodology Analyst to join a high-impact project within the Risk area. The selected person will participate in the development, monitoring, and improvement of regulatory and business models, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, innovative environment oriented toward technical excellence.

What you'll do

  • Develop and recalibrate PD, LGD, and EAD/CCF models for IRB, IFRS 9, and Stress Testing environments.
  • Develop scoring models for admission, behavior, collections, and income inference.
  • Perform risk differentiation and quantification analysis, calibration, representativeness, stability, and model and parameter performance.
  • Design and execute backtesting and periodic monitoring processes, analyzing deviations, trends, population stability, and predictive capacity.
  • Build and validate Reference Data Sets (RDS), identifying data quality issues and evaluating their methodological and regulatory impact.
  • Interpret and translate applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards into methodologies.
  • Document methodologies, hypotheses, results, limitations, and implementation criteria in a reproducible and traceable manner.
  • Participate in the management and resolution of observations and recommendations derived from Internal Validation, Internal Audit, External Audit, and supervisors.
  • Develop analyses using SQL, Python, SAS, and/or R, promoting industrialized processes and reusable, versioned code.
  • Collaborate with Business, Data, IT, Risk, Finance, and Validation teams to ensure the correct implementation and use of models.
  • Prepare technical and executive documentation, presenting conclusions and results before various decision-making forums.
