About the role

At Paul Marlow, we collaborate with a leading company in the development of infrastructure projects, which is looking to add a Design Engineer - Route Design for its Madrid office.

The selected candidate will work in coordination with project teams, contributing their experience in the analysis, optimization, and preparation of technical documentation for route designs.

What you'll do

• Preparing and reviewing technical documentation related to route design across different project phases (preliminary studies, detailed designs, and construction projects).

• Optimizing route design proposals for linear infrastructure (highways or railways).

• Using advanced tools such as ISTRAM for modeling and analysis.

• Participating in complementary project aspects such as budgets, drainage, and affected services assessments.

• Ensuring quality, compliance with current regulations, and adherence to project deadlines in all assigned documentation.

• Applying international standards and BIM methodology.

What we're looking for

• A university degree recognized in Spain in Civil Engineering or Technical Public Works Engineering (ICCP).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in route design within linear infrastructure projects (highways or railways).

• Digital skills: advanced proficiency in ISTRAM/ISPOL and user-level knowledge of Office.

• An autonomous profile, detail-oriented, with technical and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of complementary aspects such as budgets, drainage, and affected services will be valued.

• An intermediate level of English (minimum B2) is desirable.

• Experience and knowledge of BIM methodology will be an asset.
