Requirements

What we're looking for

Vocational training in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or similar.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the maintenance of identical or similar industrial packaging machinery.
Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and fault diagnosis in industrial equipment.
Ability to diagnose breakdowns, work autonomously, and resolve technical incidents.
Own vehicle to travel to the workplace, located in Escúzar (Granada).

Nice to have

Experience in the olive oil sector, food industry, or liquid packaging lines will be especially valued.

The role

At Marlex, we are looking for an Industrial Electromechanic to join a company in the olive oil sector, dedicated to oil packaging, located in Escúzar (Granada).

The selected person will be responsible for the maintenance and correct operation of the packaging machinery and production lines, guaranteeing the continuity of the production process and minimizing downtime due to breakdowns.

We are looking for a profile with experience in the electromechanical maintenance of industrial packaging machinery, preferably in the olive oil sector or in industries with similar production processes.

What you'll do

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the packaging machinery.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical breakdowns in the production lines.
Supervise the operation of the equipment and detect possible incidents that may affect the production process.
Execute adjustments, repairs, and component changes to guarantee the correct operation of the machinery.
Perform fine-tuning and adjustments of the equipment based on production needs.
Intervene in liquid packaging machinery in different formats, such as glass, tin, and plastic.
Collaborate in identifying improvements to optimize line performance and reduce downtime.
Record maintenance interventions and communicate recurring breakdowns or repair needs.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and occupational risk prevention regulations.
