• Previous experience in CNC machining or wire EDM (valuable).

• Ability to understand blueprints and tolerances (essential or highly valued).

• Comfort working with computers/screens and machine control menus.

• Handling of measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, comparators, etc.).

• Moderate physical work and good personal organization.

• High attention to precision and compliance with batch traceability.

• Ability to work in a team and follow technical procedures.

• Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts.

Position: Wire EDM and machining operator

Location: Galdakao

Contract type: Full-time

At Mesima we are looking for a person with an interest in machinery and precision to join us as a multi-skilled operator to work on a full production line, within the Manufacturing area: Wire EDM machine, machining center, profiling trains, dimensional and visual inspections.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your duties will be:

• Operate machining and/or wire EDM machines following programs and blueprints.

• Prepare and correctly clamp parts in the machine.

• Enter, load, or select machining programs (Heidenhain control / Fikus wire control).

• Perform dimensional quality controls using measuring instruments.

• Record process data and results in the work orders.

• Keep the machine and the work environment clean and in good condition. • Program in Mastercam for the machining center.

• Operate the entire described production line.

• Communicate process incidents, deviations, and possible improvements to the manager.
