At Paradisus Gran Canaria we are looking for highly motivated and committed Kitchen Assistants to join our team.
Job Mission:
You will be responsible for assisting the kitchen team with preparation, cleaning, and organization tasks, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and in line with the hotel's quality and luxury standards.
- Assist in preparing ingredients (washing, cutting, peeling, and portioning food) for culinary preparations.
- Perform basic kitchen tasks, following the instructions of the cook and the chef in charge.
- Ensure cleanliness and order in workstations and kitchen utensils. - Assist in receiving and storing goods, ensuring proper rotation and preservation of products.
- Comply with established food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Support daily mise en place, ensuring everything is ready for service.
- Participate in preparing simple dishes and assembling presentations under supervision.
REMEMBER: Before submitting your application, you must inform your direct supervisor and/or Hotel Director, and your Human Resources manager of your interest in participating in the internal selection process.
