Essential knowledge (technology):

• Knowledge of distributed application architectures.

• Experience in legacy application modernization.

At Métrica España, we are looking for a Junior Cloud Architect with a strong application orientation to join our Architecture Governance Office.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural guidance to development teams and external providers.
• Active collaboration in the definition, review, and evolution of application architectures in hybrid cloud and public cloud environments.
• Participation in application modernization initiatives, promoting the adoption of cloud-native architectures.
• Review of Architecture Designs (AD), ensuring technical quality and compliance with corporate standards.
• Technical validation of solutions and architecture proposals.
• Architectural support to technological projects throughout their different phases.
• Preparation of technical architecture documentation (diagrams, specifications, guides).
• Analysis of technological solutions and evaluation of their suitability for the organization's cloud environment.
• Definition and promotion of architectural best practices and design patterns in the cloud domain.
• Collaboration with senior architects in the definition of the technological strategy and architectural roadmap.
• Participation in the evaluation and selection of cloud services and technologies.
