Requirements

What we're looking for

At least 6 years of experience in V&V, AIV/AIT, systems engineering, integration/testing or flight software validation in the space sector.
Real experience with satellite systems, embedded software (onboard/flight software) or complex aerospace systems.
Knowledge of satellite testing, integration, verification and validation campaigns, including pre-launch testing and D/E phases.
Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting and/or data analysis.
Ability to analyze and interpret satellite telemetry.
University degree in Aerospace, Telecommunications, Computer, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
High level of English, equivalent to C1/C2.
Availability for occasional on-site attendance and for travel.

Nice to have

Experience in ESA programs or other European space programs.
Knowledge of ECSS and PUS standards.
Experience with EGSE and in C/D phases of satellite projects.
Handling of mission control tools: SCOS-2000, Open MCT or MOIS.
Knowledge of MATLAB, C or C++.
Experience in mission operations, Earth observation, launchers or functional avionics.
Additional experience in test and operations automation through scripting.

Metrica is looking for a Mission Validation and Verification Architect for a large-scale project in the Space Sector.

How you'll work

Location: workplace in Madrid, Málaga, Barcelona or Valencia. It is necessary that the candidate be from one of these cities.
Modality: Hybrid (80% remote work, 20% on-site)
Equipment provided by the client for security reasons.
