Network Security Engineer

More than 5 years of demonstrable experience in the design, implementation, and management of network security.

• Advanced experience in the configuration and administration of next-generation firewalls (NGFW), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and other perimeter security solutions.
• Deep knowledge and practical experience with at least two of the following platforms: Nestkope, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
• Experience working in banking or financial environments, understanding their specific security challenges and requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work proactively and autonomously, taking on responsibilities and leading initiatives.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish.
• Positive attitude, desire to learn, and to develop professionally in the field of security.

• Network security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA Security, PCNSE, NSE).
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
• Scripting knowledge for the automation of security tasks.
• Experience in security management in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Technical level of English.
