Requirements

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in electronic interlocking software development in Structured Text on PLC.
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another STEM qualification.

Nice to have

  • Functional knowledge of Adif interlockings.
  • Experience in software requirements specification.
  • Experience in SIL4 safety software development under CENELEC standards.

The role

At Métrica, we are looking for a Railway Interlocking Software Engineer, with experience in development using Structured Text on PLC, to join a project in the railway sector.

What you'll do

  • Participate in the software requirements specification of electronic railway interlockings.
  • Develop the software for the generic interlocking product in Structured Text language on PLC.
  • Perform specification and development activities under the CENELEC regulatory framework applicable to SIL4 safety products.

How you'll work

  • Modality: 100% remote.
  • Salary: 45-48K SBA, depending on experience.
  • Computer equipment provided for security reasons.
