Machine Learning Engineer

• University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar.
• 3 or more years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Modeling, Pricing, or CRM Analytics positions.
• Solid experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience working with Databricks.
• Experience in building, training, and evaluating supervised Machine Learning models.
• Knowledge of hyperparameter tuning, validation, and performance metrics.
• Experience with clustering algorithms, especially K-means and KNN.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.

• Experience in the insurance sector.
• Knowledge of SparkML.
• Experience with Deep Learning libraries.
• Knowledge of Linux, Bash, and Crontab.
• Experience working under Agile methodologies.

At Métrica we are looking for a Data Scientist / Machine Learning to join a project within the CRM & Data/AI area, participating in the development of advanced analytics and Machine Learning solutions focused on the client.

You will join a project focused on the development of a protection product recommendation engine, whose objective will be to identify which products each customer needs and detect existing coverage gaps.

• Perform customer segmentation and clustering based on information available in databases.
• Develop and optimize predictive models, especially supervised models oriented towards churn prediction.
• Apply Machine Learning algorithms, such as K-means, KNN, and other classification/prediction models.
• Identify similar profiles or "twins" for the detected segments.
• Work on Speech Analytics projects, identifying events and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business teams to validate results and incorporate business rules.
• Analyze data and transform results into relevant insights for decision-making.
• Document the analyses, models, and processes developed.
• Prepare and present reports with the main results.

Modality: 100% remote.

SBA: €35,000

• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in Modeling, Pricing, or CRM areas.
• Experience in SQL.
• Experience in Python and Databricks.
• Experience in building machine learning models, especially supervised ones (methodology, hyperparameter tuning, performance…).
• Experience with algorithms such as KNN, K-means, etc.
• Ability for collaborative teamwork, ease of communication, and flexibility to adapt to new technologies.
