Deputy Head of SAP - Valencia (Spain) (50-90K)

To support the evolution of its global SAP organization, we are looking for a Deputy Head of SAP who will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, service governance, and strategic initiatives across the SAP landscape.

• Shape a world-class SAP organisation and its future roadmap.
• Drive SAP strategy, transformation and operational excellence.

• Support the Head of SAP in defining and executing the SAP strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Provide leadership and direction across multiple SAP service towers, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and performance.
• Oversee SAP operations, service delivery, governance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure delivery excellence across SAP applications, platforms, cloud services, security, integrations, and support functions.
• Drive operational stability, service quality, and business satisfaction through KPI and SLA governance.
• Lead and develop Team Leads and senior SAP managers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Act as escalation point for critical incidents, major risks, and cross-functional challenges.
• Manage relationships with strategic partners, vendors, and external service providers.
• Support SAP transformation programs, cloud adoption initiatives, and organizational change management.
• Represent the SAP organization in leadership forums and act on behalf of the Head of SAP when required.
• Drive budget planning, resource allocation, capacity management, and workforce development initiatives.

• Extensive experience leading large SAP organizations within complex international environments.
• Proven track record managing multiple SAP domains, including applications, operations, integrations, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and governance.
• Strong leadership experience managing managers, Team Leads, and distributed teams.
• Experience overseeing SAP support services and transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business and technology leadership.
• Experience working with external providers and global sourcing models.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong operational execution capabilities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• SAP S/4HANA transformation experience.
• Exposure to SAP BTP and cloud-first architectures.
• Experience in multinational organizations with global SAP landscapes.
• Familiarity with ITIL, service governance, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Green or Brownfield migration experience.
