Quality Director - Automotive

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Technical university degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Relevant experience in responsibility positions within the Quality area in the automotive sector.
• Solid knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements and standards.
• Practical experience in quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, 8D, 5D, and structured problem-solving.
• Experience in audit management and direct relationship with industrial sector clients.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex environments.
• Communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
• Results-oriented profile, with strategic vision and the capacity to influence within the organization.
• Professional English level to interact with clients and international environments.

• Valuable experience in ISO 14001 environmental management systems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Lead and develop the company's quality strategy, ensuring its alignment with business objectives.
• Manage the Quality department, composed of a team of five professionals, promoting their development and performance.
• Supervise the management of non-conformities, customer complaints, and associated action plans.
• Act as the main interlocutor with clients on quality-related matters, managing complex situations and ensuring adequate incident resolution.
• Define and implement continuous improvement actions aimed at reducing deviations and improving process efficiency.
• Guarantee the maintenance and development of quality management systems in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Participate actively in the implementation and consolidation of the ISO 14001 environmental management system.
• Lead internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and sector-specific requirements.
• Coordinate activities related to APQP, 8D methodologies, and other structured problem-solving tools.
• Drive a culture of prevention, quality, and customer orientation throughout the organization.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and other areas to guarantee quality throughout the entire value chain.
• Manage internal and external conflicts associated with quality incidents, facilitating agreements and sustainable solutions.
