Job Description

Randstad Professional is looking for a Quality Engineer to join an important company in the automotive sector located in Borja. If you have experience in demanding industrial environments, mastery of Core Tools (IATF, FMEA, 8D), and are motivated by shop-floor quality management, this is your opportunity!

As a Quality Engineer, reporting to the Quality Director, your main responsibilities will be:
- Plant quality assurance and problem resolution: Documentation and monitoring of control plans, handling and comprehensive management of customer complaints using 8D methodologies, root cause analysis, and definition of corrective and containment actions.
- Launch of new projects and process assurance: Execution of APQP, development and maintenance of FMEAs and control guidelines, establishing limit samples, and conducting process audits to ensure consistent manufacturing processes.
- Team coordination and training: Management and direct supervision of the quality inspector team under your charge, as well as continuous training and development of line operators on quality standards.
- Operational supervision and intervention capability: Active presence on the shop floor with the authority to stop production in case of deviation or impact on the quality system, ensuring compliance with IATF regulations, customer requirements, and safety and environmental guidelines.
