This position is part of a succession plan for a strategic role within the Group's Raw Materials Purchasing area.

The role

Ensure the operational and administrative follow-up of raw material and auxiliary materials purchasing operations from contracting to final settlement, acting as a liaison between suppliers and the various departments of the organization. Manage the assigned supplier portfolio, which supplies raw materials and auxiliary materials to the Group's different plants.

What you'll do

Comprehensive follow-up of purchasing operations.
Management and maintenance of contracts in SAP.
Monitoring of price fixings and quotations.
Control of material arrival forecasts.
Coordination between suppliers and internal departments.
Management of operational, administrative, and quality incidents.
Support in settlement and invoicing processes.
Document management for audits and compliance requirements.
Use of corporate tools

Business knowledge development

Learning about secondary raw materials and auxiliary materials markets.
Knowledge of materials containing copper, tin, lead, and other non-ferrous metals.
Understanding of the Group's technical and commercial purchasing criteria.
Knowledge of the supply needs of the Group's different plants.
Interpretation of quality reports and material analysis.

Progressive commercial development

Participation in meetings and visits to suppliers.
Support in commercial negotiations.
Development of long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.
Search and identification of new suppliers and materials.
Monitoring of market trends, prices, and competition.
Preparation of reports and market analysis.
Participation in trade fairs and sector events.

Future responsibility

Management of the assigned supplier portfolio.
Negotiation of supply contracts.
Development of new sourcing sources.
Management of strategic commercial relationships.
Coordination with the Corporation
Representation of the Group before suppliers and sector associations.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

University degree or higher education.
Valuable education in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
Experience in Purchasing, Commercial, Customer Service, Supply Chain, or International Trade within industrial environments.
Valuable experience in recycling, waste management, non-ferrous metals, raw materials, or the metallurgical industry.
Languages: Spanish and English are essential; Portuguese and/or German are valued positively.
Interpersonal communication, negotiation skills, customer and supplier orientation, analytical skills, development of long-term trust relationships.
Teamwork in an international environment.
Availability to travel.
