SAP - Abap Developer -Valencia (spain) (40-50k)

The role requires strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders, and the ability to contribute to both ongoing support activities and strategic SAP transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA programs.

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP applications, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom developments.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Design and implement integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData Services, APIs, and Web Services.
• Develop enhancements through User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, performance analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Support SAP projects, rollouts, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with functional teams during testing, deployment, and hypercare phases.
• Ensure compliance with development standards, documentation practices, and transport management procedures.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformation and modernization initiatives where applicable.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects (OO ABAP).
• Experience with:
  • ALV Reports
  • SmartForms, SAPscript and/or Adobe Forms
  • BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs
  • User Exits, Customer Exits and BAdIs
  • Data Dictionary (DDIC)
  • Performance optimization and debugging
• Experience working in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Understanding of SAP integration concepts and interfaces.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Professional English proficiency.

Preferred:

• SAP S/4HANA development experience.
• CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, SAP Gateway.
• SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.
• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Experience working in international environments and Agile delivery models.
