The role

A major real estate company is looking for a Senior Accountant & Consolidation based in Madrid (north area). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in financial positions. A very high level of English is essential. Advanced Excel skills are essential and experience with NetSuite is highly valued. The work format is in-person (with flexible hours).

What you'll do

Reporting to the Controlling Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following functions:

Preparation and supervision of general accounting and monthly closings.
Preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements.
Participation in consolidation processes under IFRS standards.
Analysis and reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
Collaboration with external and internal audits.
Preparation of financial reports for management and headquarters.
Support in financial process improvement and internal control projects.

At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and consolidation.
Solid knowledge of Spanish accounting standards and IFRS.
Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.
Very high level of English (C1), essential for working in an international environment.
Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is valued.
Analytical, proactive profile, and detail-oriented.
Knowledge of NetSuite is highly valued.
