Company History
Moët Hennessy was formed in 1987 through the merger of Moët & Chandon (founded 1743) and Hennessy (founded 1765), bringing together two of the most iconic names in champagne and cognac. The company became the wines and spirits division of LVMH, which was created the same year. Since then, Moët Hennessy has expanded its portfolio through acquisitions and organic growth, becoming a global leader in luxury wines and spirits.
