In Spain we have 4 production centers: Granollers (Cookies), Montornés del Vallés (Desserts), Viana (Cookies), Hospital de Órbigo (Cheese). This offer is aimed at joining the Viana plant. Oreo, Fontaneda, Chips Ahoy and Principe are some of the products we make and distribute both in Spain and across Europe.
Purpose of the Position
As a continuous improvement trainee, you will participate in different efficiency and waste improvement projects on the assigned production line using TPM methodology. You will gain first-hand knowledge of the core pillar processes such as progressive maintenance, autonomous maintenance and focused improvement.
What you'll do
Main responsibilities
· Observe, analyze and challenge the practices and processes used in the plant.
· Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identify root causes of deviations and propose corrective actions
· Train and support plant personnel so they understand and implement the tools of the TPM methodology
· Participate in the Improvement Idea Selection (Kaizen) process and support their implementation

· Process improvement: Evaluate processes and interpret data to develop actions that eliminate losses and improve line performance.
· Participate in the development and launch of new products and projects.

What we're looking for
Requirements
· University degree or higher education qualification (Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Science and Technology)
· Fluent Spanish and fluent English are required
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

· Communication skills, ease of interaction with plant personnel
· Ability to work in a team
· Observation, analysis and listening skills
Education & certifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in any branch of Engineering.
English B2/C1.
Specialization/experience in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, industrial organization is a plus.

Finalidad de la Posición
Como trainee de mejora continua participarás en distintos proyectos de mejora de eficiencia y merma en la línea de producción asignada utilizando metodología de TPM. Conocerás de primera mano los procesos de pilares core como son mantenimiento progresivo, mantenimiento autónomo y mejora enfocada.

Principales responsabilidades
· Observar, analizar y retar las prácticas y procesos utilizados en la planta.
· Seguimiento de los KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators), identificar causas raíz de las desviaciones y proponer acciones correctivas
· Formar y dar soporte al personal de la planta para que conozcan e implementen las herramientas de la metodología TPM
· Participar en el proceso de Selección de Ideas de Mejora (Kaizen) y dar soporte en la implementación de estos
