The role

At Nauterra España, we are looking to hire a Continuous Improvement Technician at our Carballo plant.

Collaborate in the deployment of the Company's Continuous Improvement Model, actively participating in the identification, development, and implementation of improvements in production processes, contributing to increased efficiency, waste reduction, and the development of a continuous improvement culture within the organization.

We are looking for professionals who see this position as an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of how an industrial plant operates, lead improvement projects, and evolve in the future towards coordination, supervision, or management positions within the organization.

We would like to hire someone with initiative, curiosity, and a desire to learn, who enjoys working on the shop floor, direct contact with production teams, and problem-solving in an industrial environment. For this reason, we are not looking for extensive previous experience, but rather a proactive attitude, an orientation toward improvement, and the desire to build a professional career within the food industry.

What you'll do

  1. Participate in the implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement initiatives across the various areas of the plant.

  2. Support the deployment of Lean and operational excellence tools such as 5S, TPM, visual management, standardization, structured problem solving, and improvement of work methods.

  3. Identify improvement opportunities on the shop floor and collaborate in the analysis of production processes.

  4. Participate in projects oriented toward improving the productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency of operations.

  5. Collaborate in the implementation of new technologies and industrial digitalization solutions.

  6. Support the monitoring of process indicators and the preparation of result reports.

  7. Work in a coordinated manner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other support departments.

  8. Collaborate in the implementation and monitoring of operating standards and best practices.

  9. Participate in training, communication, and awareness actions related to continuous improvement.

  10. Contribute to the development of an improvement culture based on participation, teamwork, and results orientation.
