The role
At Nortempo, we are looking for a Poultry Farm Manager for one of our clients in the agri-food sector.
What you'll do
You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating farm operations, optimizing available resources, and leading the human team to ensure the correct functioning of the farms. You will manage the activity of several holdings located within an approximate radius of 10 km.
Supervise daily farm activity and ensure compliance with production, animal welfare, and biosecurity protocols.
Lead and coordinate a team consisting of 5 farm managers and approximately 20 farmers indirectly.
Analyze and monitor the main production indicators: laying rate, mortality, feed and water consumption, egg quality, etc.
Detect deviations and propose corrective actions to optimize results.
Coordinate maintenance needs, supplies, and operational logistics.
Prepare periodic reports for the Operations Management.
Organize vacations, absence coverage, and staffing needs.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and the review of operating procedures.
Requirements
