Press Technician – Packaging Industry

🔩 What are we looking for?

We would like to find a person with:

Vocational training related to Machining, Mechanical Manufacturing, Forming Production, or similar.

Previous experience working with presses, dies, matrices, tooling, or industrial machinery.

Knowledge of machinery adjustment and fine-tuning.

Ability to read technical drawings.

Proficiency with measuring instruments.

A precise, autonomous, and resourceful person, with an orientation toward quality.

👉 If you do not have exactly all the indicated training but you have real experience working with presses or forming machinery, we also want to meet you.

Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics is valued.

-Stable contract and the opportunity to join a consolidated industrial company.

-Salary: €28,791 gross per year, corresponding to the category of Specialized Operator.

-Rotating shift from Monday to Friday, with rotation every 2 weeks:

☀️ Morning shift

🌆 Afternoon shift

🌙 Night shift

Important: during the initial adaptation and training period, you will not work the night shift. Incorporation into this shift will take place once you have acquired autonomy and correctly know the functioning of the position, approximately after the first 1-2 months.

At Nortempo Selección, we are looking to hire a Press Operator Technician for an industrial company specializing in the manufacturing of aluminum packaging and components for sectors such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, hygiene, and other consumer products.

We are looking for a person with experience in presses, machinery adjustment, tooling, or forming processes, who wants to be part of a stable industrial environment with growth possibilities.

You will work in the manufacturing of metal packaging and components, mainly through aluminum forming processes.

Products include:

• Aluminum tubes used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and hygiene.

• Components for aerosol packaging.

• Metal bodies and parts that subsequently undergo lacquering, printing, and assembly processes.

In other words, you will be working on a key part of the manufacturing process for products that you surely see every day. 👀

Your main mission will be to ensure the correct operation of the presses and the quality of the manufactured parts.

Your duties will include:

• ⚙️ Prepare and adjust presses and tooling before each production run.

• 🔩 Mount, align, and adjust dies, punches, molds, or stamps.

• 🔄 Perform format changes according to the type of product.

• 🏭 Start up and regulate automatic or hydraulic presses.

• 📐 Adjust parameters such as pressure, stroke, and speed.

• 🔍 Perform dimensional and quality controls of the manufactured parts.

• 📏 Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, or profile projectors.

• 📝 Record controls and production results.

• 🧰 Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks, cleaning, lubrication, and machinery inspection.

• 🚨 Detect and communicate possible mechanical issues.

• 🤝 Work coordinately with other production teams to ensure process continuity.
