Senior SAT Technician (Presses)

We are looking for a technical profile with solid experience in maintenance, repair, and intervention on mechanical and hydraulic presses, capable of leading field work at industrial client sites and coordinating technical teams during assembly, disassembly, overhaul, and commissioning projects involving heavy machinery. The position requires a high degree of autonomy, planning skills, and in-depth practical knowledge of press mechanics.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance, repair, and installation interventions on industrial machinery at client facilities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and schedule standards. Main responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating field work during industrial interventions.
• Organizing and assigning tasks to the technical team, both in-house and subcontractors.
• Acting as the main point of contact with the client during the execution of work.
• Coordinating the disassembly, assembly, and repair of mechanical and hydraulic presses.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues that arise during interventions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and occupational risk prevention standards.
• Preparing interventions by defining resources, tools, and technical requirements.
• Monitoring progress and preparing final technical reports.
• Leading teams deployed to industrial facilities on projects that may last one or several weeks.
• Ensuring the correct execution of assembly, maintenance, and repair work on heavy machinery.

The position requires availability for regular travel within the assigned area and occasional trips to other locations on the peninsula as projects require.

• Vocational training (Intermediate or Advanced Degree) in Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or rebuilding of mechanical and/or hydraulic presses.
• Practical knowledge of disassembly and assembly of critical mechanical components such as slides, connecting rods, shafts, clutches, brakes, or equivalent assemblies.
• Experience with heavy industrial machinery and field work.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating technical teams or external personnel during interventions.
• Knowledge of industrial hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Technical level of English.
• Autonomous, resolute, and customer-oriented profile.
• Availability for frequent travel within Spain and, occasionally, to Portugal.
• Previous experience with press manufacturers or maintenance providers in industrial environments specializing in stamping, forging, or automation machinery will be highly valued.
