Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will coach high-performing teams, optimize delivery flow, champion Agile excellence, and leverage modern AI-enabled ways of working to create predictable, sustainable, and impactful outcomes across a global environment.

What you'll do

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile delivery across cross-functional digital product teams and strategic business initiatives.
  • Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum, and Kanban practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies to drive alignment, transparency, and predictable delivery outcomes.
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, prioritization, and value-focused execution.
  • Remove impediments and enable high-performing, self-organized, and autonomous teams.
  • Optimize delivery flow using lead time, cycle time, throughput, and flow efficiency metrics.
  • Educate stakeholders and influence Agile mindset adoption across business and technology organizations.
  • Leverage AI-enabled practices and tools to improve team productivity, delivery effectiveness, and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product delivery, product management, or digital transformation environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or Flow Engineer.
  • Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Agile coaching, flow optimization, Agile metrics, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, MIRO, Agile reporting tools, AI-enabled delivery solutions such as Rovo, Claude, or GitHub Copilot, and working within global matrix organizations.

Nice to have

  • SAFe certification and experience supporting Agile delivery across multi-team or scaled Agile environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) processes, Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms, or within the Life Sciences industry.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role:

* Barcelona: 57,900.00 - 107,500.00 EUR Annual

The salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. Further details will be provided during the application process.
