What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Precheck Technician (Sales Engineering) to join the Engineering team at Octopus Energy Spain.

Your mission will be to ensure the correct technical feasibility of photovoltaic, battery, and charger installations before their execution, making sure each project is perfectly defined to offer the best experience to our customers.

What you'll do

  • You will review photovoltaic, battery, and electric charger projects, validating their technical feasibility.
  • You will analyze technical information and identify potential issues or limitations before installation.
  • You will coordinate with the engineering and sales teams to ensure projects are properly sized.
  • You will prepare and complete the technical documentation required for each project.
  • You will use our internal tools (CRM and technical software) to record information and track progress.
  • You will collaborate on the continuous improvement of internal processes in the sales engineering area.

🎯 What do you need to shine in this role?

  • Vocational training in Electricity, Renewable Energy, Electrical Installations, or similar.
  • Technical knowledge of photovoltaic installations.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical tasks in the field or in a technical office.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Basic proficiency with digital tools (CRM, internal software, Google Workspace…).
  • Attention to detail, planning, effective communication, and proactivity.
