What we're looking for

We are looking for a profile with solid experience in preventive maintenance, planning, reliability improvement, and team leadership, rather than experience focused primarily on reactive maintenance and troubleshooting.

The role

At Chupa Chups Production, we want to add someone to our team to help us keep our iconic Chupa Chups moving, from the production line to consumers all over the world.

As Maintenance Lead, you will play a key role in equipment reliability, production continuity, and operational excellence.

Our center works under the IWS (Integrated Work System) model, where line leadership is based on a trio formed by the Line Lead, Process Lead, and Maintenance Lead. The three work as a single team, sharing responsibility for line performance and continuous improvement.

As Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for equipment reliability and maintenance systems, with a special focus on preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance planning, asset management, and team capability development.

Reporting to the Line Lead, you will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and HSE to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.

What you'll do

  • Lead maintenance planning and scheduling to maximize equipment availability.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze equipment downtime and losses and implement actions to improve reliability and performance.
  • Keep maintenance documentation, technical standards, and procedures up to date.
  • Support Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Lead, support, and develop the team to strengthen their maintenance capabilities.
