The role
We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join our team in Gran Canaria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of factory machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal operation and minimizing downtime. This role requires a professional with solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial refrigeration systems, as well as strong skills in diagnosing and resolving faults.
What you'll do
- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, mechanical parts diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Configuring and adjusting variable frequency drives to optimize machinery performance.
- Performing backups and reviewing ladder logic in automation systems.
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on equipment and installations.
- Applying knowledge of safety modules and safety protocols on machinery.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and industrial refrigeration faults.
- Repairing hydraulic pumps, peristaltic pumps, and other critical components.
- Handling and knowledge of electric motors and their associated systems.
- Experience with the operation and maintenance of hydraulic, steam, electrical, pneumatic, and industrial refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge and maintenance of mechanical components such as gearboxes, mechanical drives, heat exchangers, and industrial mixers.
- Complete installation, maintenance, and repair of factory machinery and equipment.
- Quickly and efficiently identifying and resolving breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations in all interventions.
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Documenting all interventions performed and managing spare parts inventory.
