What you'll do

WHAT WILL YOU DO ON A DAY-TO-DAY BASIS?

  • Support for clinical information standardization activities to ensure healthcare interoperability between the autonomous communities and the EU.
  • Support for the management of international editions and the publication of national extensions of SNOMED CT.
  • Support for the provision of classification, coding, and data standardization services for the National Health System (SNS), using terminologies such as SNOMED CT, ICD-10-ES, among others.
  • Support for tasks aimed at improving the quality of healthcare data, as well as data models for the SNS.
  • Support for the creation of resources and the management of the SNS Reference Terminology Server.
  • Support for the development of clinical semantics services for the SNS.
  • Support for the analysis of large databases of the SIS (Health Information System).

Minimum Requirements

  • Higher university degree: must hold a higher university degree of a technical nature; in this regard, the qualifying degrees are: Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or similar; for these purposes, Bachelor's or Master's degrees with specializations in Information Technologies are also accepted. Minimum required: 3 months
  • 7 years of experience in Coding, Standardization, and Management of Clinical Coding Training.
  • Experience in Data Management, including Data and Information Management in all its forms, as well as Analysis of Information Structures, such as Logical Analyses of Taxonomies, Clinical Data, and Metadata.
  • Experience in the use of Clinical Classifications and Terminologies (ICD-10, SNOMED, among others).
  • Experience in the use of Python or R programming languages in applications supporting clinical documentation.
  • Completion of at least one training course on each of the following topics: healthcare data processing, Coding with ICD-10-CM, and SNOMED CT.
  • Advanced level of English (C1).
