What would we like to see on your CV?

Currently pursuing a university degree or master's degree.
Intermediate level of Power BI.
- Basic level of DAX.
- Power Query: basic transformations (filtering columns, pivoting tables, combining queries, etc.).
- Knowledge of M for advanced Editor use is valued.
Proficiency in basic Excel formulas.
Basic knowledge of data storytelling with visualizations (types of charts, etc.).
Basic knowledge of statistics.
Initiative.
Critical thinking.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to learn.
Adaptability.

Nice to have

Knowledge of API integration and reading data in JSON format is a plus.
Knowledge of Python or R for task automation is a plus.

The role

At Grupo Planeta, we are looking for a student to carry out Business Intelligence internships at our training center, EAE Barcelona, which belongs to the Planeta Formación y Universidades division.

What you'll do

What would your main duties be?

Support in the preparation and cleaning of data using Excel spreadsheets or .CSV files before their integration into Power BI.
Creation of DAX measures to filter and cross-reference data (basic-intermediate level).
Creating transformations in Power Query (M) (basic-intermediate level).
Working collaboratively on Power BI reports within shared environments (Workspace) using Direct Query.
Organization and follow-up of assigned tasks, prioritizing according to calendar and assigned deliverables.
Communication with other team members when necessary.
Support in documenting processes and data flows.
Proactive research on specific topics, or to solve problems in a self-taught manner.
