From the private hospitals of Quirónsalud in Madrid, we are looking for a Day Hospital Nurse to join our Olympia Medical-Surgical Center, located in Torre Caleido (Begoña metro), in the northern area of Madrid.
What you'll do
Provide comprehensive care to the patient, promoting health education, in coordination with the rest of the team, applying the knowledge specific to their category and following the guidelines set by the center based on the care protocols of each area, contributing to providing an excellent quality service.
- Provide comprehensive and safe care to the patient, in accordance with the established nursing care plan.
- Maintain a professional, close, and respectful relationship with patients and families, providing health information and education adapted to their needs.
- Perform correct patient identification and guarantee compliance with healthcare safety protocols.
- Inform and accompany the patient throughout the entire care process, properly recording the activity and evolution in the clinical history.
- Prepare and assist the patient before procedures and interventions, following the specific protocols of each specialty.
- Supervise and monitor postoperative recovery, identifying risks associated with the anesthetic technique and ensuring subsequent care until discharge.
- Safely administer prescribed medication, treatments, and diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate in the organization of the unit, including the supervision of auxiliary staff, the preparation of boxes, and the control of material and life support equipment.
- Stay up to date in nursing knowledge and procedures, contributing to the continuous improvement of care quality.
