Technical Network Proficiency:
Routing & Switching: Deep knowledge of protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VXLAN, Spanning Tree) and Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or Huawei infrastructure.
SD-WAN & Firewalls: Experience in SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet, Versa, Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela) and Next-Gen Firewall management (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint).
Cloud & Datacenter Networking: Integration of networks with Cloud environments (AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, DirectConnect / ExpressRoute).
Technical Certifications (Highly Valued):
Cisco: CCNP (Enterprise/Security) or advanced CCNA.
Security / Others: Fortinet NSE 4+, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Aruba ACMP.
Management Certifications (Desirable):

Network Leadership and Project Management
Project Lifecycle Management: Lead design, migration, renewal, and network infrastructure optimization projects (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, Datacenter) from start to finish.
Planning and Control: Define scope, schedules, budget, resource estimation, and risk analysis to guarantee deliveries on time and in the correct manner.
Stakeholder Coordination: Manage communication and relationships with internal teams (systems, cybersecurity, operations) and external providers / telecommunications operators (TELCOs).
Engineering, Architecture, and Technical Deployment
Network Design and Architecture: Design and implement secure, high-availability network topologies (switching, routing, load balancers, firewalls, Hybrid/Cloud environments).
Migrations and Commissioning: Coordinate and execute critical maintenance windows, infrastructure migrations, and configuration changes without impacting business continuity.
Governance and Documentation: Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation (network diagrams in Visio/Draw.io, addressing matrices, LLD/HLD, contingency and rollback plans).
Security, Monitoring, and Continuous Improvement
Security Integration: Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to apply network segmentation policies, access control (802.1X, NAC), and rules in Firewalls / SD-WAN.
Monitoring and Capabilities: Supervise management tools and network performance indicators (bandwidth, latency, redundancy) to propose continuous improvements and capacity expansions.
