What we're looking for

Required experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of previous experience in the railway sector or aluminum carpentry (profiles with a longer professional career will be very positively valued).

Key skills: Dexterity for manual work, an interior mechanics/fit-out or finishing profile, and a marked orientation toward detail for parts requiring fine adjustment.

Academic training: Intermediate or Higher Degree in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanical Maintenance, Machining, or an equivalent qualification.

Technical knowledge: Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical diagrams and blueprints.

The role

At Randstad, we are selecting an Assembly Mechanic - Interior Fit-out Specialist to join the permanent staff of a major multinational leader in the railway sector, an international benchmark for its innovation and high-technology projects.

If you bring experience in the railway sector or aluminum carpentry, possess great manual dexterity, and are characterized by an orientation toward detail, this is your opportunity! Your daily work at their production center in Las Rozas / Las Matas will be key to the interior finishes of high-speed and regional transport trains that connect people all over the world.

What you'll do

As an Interior Fit-out / Adjustment Mechanic, you will integrate into the plant's mechanical team and perform tasks that require precision and fine finishing:

Assembly and integration of interiors: Replacement and assembly of carpets, seats, tables, armchairs, headrests, and other interior elements of railway carriages.

Fine adjustment of parts: Performing precise adjustments on interior components, profiles, and aluminum carpentry that require a high level of manual dexterity and detailed finishing.

How you'll work

Availability: Availability to work on a 3-shift rotating basis.

Mobility: Availability to travel nationally and internationally if necessary.

Working day and shifts: Work in 3 rotating shifts: morning (06:45 to 14:55 h), afternoon (14:45 to 22:55 h), and night (22:45 to 06:55 h).
