Relief Operator

Minimum education: Vocational training (Intermediate or Advanced Level) in Industrial Maintenance or a similar qualification.

Required experience: At least 3 years of experience in the plant production process.

Solid technical knowledge:

General mechanics.

Forklift and front loader operation.

Knowledge of pneumatics.

Industrial electricity.

Randstad manages, for ALIER S.A., a leading company and benchmark in industrial sustainability, the direct hiring of a Line Operator for its new gypsum board recycling plant at the Recycling Technology Park in Zaragoza.

What will your duties be?

• Supervision and reporting: Report to the shift supervisor on incidents involving personnel, damage to equipment or tools, and failures in the production process.
• Shift coverage: Replace the shift supervisor in all their duties during vacations or extended absences.
• Operational coverage: Cover any vacant position on the production line due to short- or long-term absences.
• Team management: Organize and assign personnel together with the supervisor to meet production targets set by management.
• Health and safety: Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations. Correct violations and report them to management immediately.
• Operational maintenance: Assist the maintenance team with basic tasks, such as changing filters, hoses, and technical equipment cleaning.
• Asset care: Take responsibility for the proper use of products, tools, and machinery to prevent waste or unnecessary wear.
• Problem solving: Actively participate in identifying root causes on the production line and propose strategic solutions to achieve operational goals.
• Continuous improvement: Properly implement the company's improvement programs, including the 5S methodology.
• Training: Attend meetings and talks on safety, occupational health, environment, quality management, and human resources.
• Incident management: Immediately report any accident or incident to the direct supervisor or the plant safety officer.
• Execution and delegation: Follow direct orders from management and delegate tasks to the team to ensure compliance.
