About the role

Are you an engineering professional with a passion for operational excellence in continuous process environments? If you are enthusiastic about technical supervision and are looking for a project where your knowledge of complex mechanical systems and safety regulations (HSE) makes a difference, this is your opportunity.

We are looking for a profile with a practical approach, analytical skills, and field leadership to join immediately a solid industrial position with high impact on operational efficiency.

What you'll do

You will take on technical responsibility in the field and oversee operations in the assigned area. Your main duties will include:

  • Safety Supervision and Control (HSE): Act as a Preventive Resource, leading and ensuring strict compliance with safety and health regulations at the plant, especially for work at height and in confined spaces.
  • Contractor Management and Supervision: Coordinate, supervise, and validate the work of subcontracting companies to ensure technical quality and compliance with established deadlines.
  • Maintenance and Reliability Engineering: Oversee the proper operation of complex mechanical and rotating equipment, including centrifugal pumps and compressors (alternating and reciprocating).
  • Technical Analysis and Diagnostics: Interpret P&ID diagrams and precision mechanical drawings to diagnose issues, shaft alignment, valve optimization, and pressurized piping systems.
  • Process Optimization: Ensure production continuity by swiftly resolving technical deviations at the plant.

Requirements

  • Academic Background: Degree in engineering (Technical Engineering, Bachelor's in Engineering, or equivalent higher technical education specialized in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Mechanics).
  • Experience: At least three years of technical experience in continuous process plants or demanding industrial environments (chemical, petrochemical, or similar), demonstrating an analytical and problem-solving profile in the field.
  • Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and P&ID diagrams, as well as in-depth knowledge of rotating equipment (compressors and pumps).
  • Other Required Certifications
  • Training and qualification as a Preventive Resource (50h/60h).
  • Valid certifications for work at height, confined spaces, and forklift operation.

Benefits and conditions

  • Temporary contract with a fixed duration of 1 year (via Randstad), ideal for leading a project with a clear start and end within a major corporation.
  • Salary range in line with the collective agreement, with flexibility and room for negotiation based on the candidate's merit, experience, and technical specialization.
  • Joining a high-performing multidisciplinary technical team within a highly stable and technology-driven sector.
