The role

From RDT we are selecting a Mechanical Engineer with experience in integrated project management, construction monitoring, and contractor coordination for our team in Asturias.

What you'll do

The position will combine office work (project management and preparation of technical documentation) with field presence for monitoring and supervising construction, with the weight of each varying according to the needs of each project.

Main requirements and competencies:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in industrial environments will be positively valued.

• Strong safety culture. We seek a person who is demanding and uncompromising regarding safety, focused not only on detecting deviations on site, but especially on preventing and anticipating risks.

• Ability to work in English in a professional environment, participating in meetings, reviewing technical documentation, and interacting with suppliers or international collaborators.

• Ability to identify, analyze, and manage risks throughout all project phases, promoting the necessary actions for mitigation at all times.

• Ability to integrate into work teams alongside different Project Managers, maintaining fluid communication and continuous coordination.

• Communication and negotiation skills, as part of the job will involve direct interaction with production facilities.

• Ability to perform in demanding environments under pressure, especially during shutdowns of production facilities or in situations where execution deadlines or results deviate from those initially planned.

• High ability to draft and structure documentation. We seek a methodical and rigorous person in preparing documents, capable of structuring information clearly, synthesizing key messages, and conveying ideas precisely to avoid ambiguities.
