Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience in the electrical sector, especially in high-voltage substations.
Proficiency in structural calculation tools such as STAAD.Pro and SAP2000.
Good knowledge of NESC standards.
Intermediate/advanced level of English (working with US utilities and weekly meetings).

Nice to have

Knowledge of CYMCAP.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a high-voltage electrical substation engineer.

What you'll do

🧩 Responsibilities

Preparation of complete engineering packages for electrical substations.
Design and calculation of structures, lightning protection, switchgear assemblies, cable routing and sizing for control and medium voltage cables.
Design of lighting, power and HVAC systems for buildings and technical shelters.
Conductor ampacity studies.
Application of US standards (NESC) and specific client standards.
Coordination with different departments to ensure timely project delivery.

📍 Location: Madrid
🕒 Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00 (1 hour for lunch)
