Electrical Engineer (Industrial / Civil Works / Buildings)

At RDT we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to participate in projects in industrial plants, civil works, buildings, infrastructure, and the tertiary sector, both nationally and internationally, working from the engineering phases through to commissioning, and contributing your experience both in the technical office and in the field.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, calculation, development, and review of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, client requirements, and quality standards. They will work alongside multidisciplinary teams and provide technical support during the engineering and construction phases.

• Design and calculate low, medium, and high voltage electrical installations according to the type of project.

• Prepare reports, drawings, single-line diagrams, load schedules, data sheets, and technical specifications.

• Size electrical networks, distribution panels, lighting systems, protections, cable trays, and associated equipment.

• Perform electrical calculations: short circuit, selectivity, voltage drop, lighting, and others.

• Review P&IDs, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and supporting documentation.

• Participate in meetings with engineering, architecture, clients, and suppliers.

• Provide technical support during execution: document review, query resolution, inspections, and follow-up.

• Supervise electrical works on site when required.

• Analyze technical bids and collaborate in the selection of electrical equipment.

• Prepare documentation for permits, approvals, and project deliverables.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering with an electrical specialty, or equivalent.

• Experience in the design of electrical installations for building, tertiary, industrial, or EPC projects.

• Solid knowledge of national and international electrical standards (REBT, CTE, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ATEX, etc.).

• Ability to interpret drawings, technical documentation, P&IDs, electrical diagrams, and specifications.

• Proficiency in electrical design tools (AutoCAD, Caneco, ETAP, EPLAN, DIALux, or others).

• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical deliverables.

• Intermediate to advanced English level for documentation and international projects.

• Experience in the tertiary sector (offices, hospitals, hotels, retail) or large-scale industrial plants.

• Use of BIM tools (Revit MEP, Navisworks).

• Knowledge of telecommunications, fire protection systems, control systems, instrumentation, or automation.

• Experience in supervising electrical works on site.

¿Te interesa diseñar, desarrollar y poner en marcha soluciones eléctricas en proyectos reales y de gran impacto? En RDT buscamos un Ingeniero/a Eléctrico/a para participar en proyectos de plantas industriales, obra civil, edificación, infraestructuras y sector terciario, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, trabajando desde las fases de ingeniería hasta la puesta en marcha, y aportando tu experiencia tanto en oficina técnica como en campo.

La persona seleccionada se encargará del diseño, cálculo, desarrollo y revisión de instalaciones eléctricas, asegurando el cumplimiento de la normativa aplicable, los requisitos del cliente y los estándares de calidad. Trabajará junto a equipos multidisciplinares y dará soporte técnico durante las fases de ingeniería y obra.

• Diseñar y calcular instalaciones eléctricas de baja, media y alta tensión según el tipo de proyecto.

• Elaborar memorias, planos, esquemas unifilares, listados de cargas, hojas de datos y especificaciones técnicas.

• Dimensionar redes eléctricas, cuadros de distribución, sistemas de alumbrado, protecciones, canalizaciones y equipos asociados.

• Realizar cálculos eléctricos: cortocircuito, selectividad, caída de tensión, iluminación y otros.

• Revisar P&ID, diagramas unifilares, listas de cables y documentación complementaria.

• Participar en reuniones con ingeniería, arquitectura, cliente y proveedores.

• Dar soporte técnico durante la ejecución: revisión de documentación, resolución de consultas, verificaciones y seguimiento.

• Supervisar trabajos eléctricos en obra cuando sea necesario.

• Analizar ofertas técnicas y colaborar en la selección de equipos eléctricos.

• Preparar documentación para licencias, tramitaciones y entregables del proyecto.

• Formación en Ingeniería Eléctrica, Ingeniería Industrial especialidad eléctrica o similar.

• Experiencia en diseño de instalaciones eléctricas en proyectos de edificación, terciario, industrial o EPC.

• Conocimientos sólidos de normativa eléctrica nacional e internacional (REBT, CTE, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ATEX, etc.).

• Capacidad para interpretar planos, documentación técnica, P&ID, diagramas eléctricos y especificaciones.

• Manejo de herramientas de diseño eléctrico (AutoCAD, Caneco, ETAP, EPLAN, DIALux u otras).

• Habilidad para trabajar con equipos multidisciplinares y gestionar entregables técnicos.

• Nivel de inglés medio o medio–alto para documentación y proyectos internacionales.

• Experiencia en proyectos del sector terciario (oficinas, hospitales, hoteles, retail) o en plantas industriales de gran envergadura.

• Uso de herramientas BIM (Revit MEP, Navisworks).

• Conocimientos en telecomunicaciones, PCI, sistemas de control, instrumentación o automatización.
