What you'll do

  • Establish the scope of the maintenance plans for the commercial services rolling stock within their area of responsibility and update the reference documentation, therefore, the documentation of the rolling stock owner and whose scope is established in the maintenance file.
  • Ensure the modification of the maintenance plans for the commercial services rolling stock within their area of action, based on optimization strategies for these plans, in a coordination effort of efforts at the territorial level, and fundamentally of the engineering departments of the companies.
  • Define the technical scope of the modifications and technical improvements applicable to the commercial services rolling stock maintained within their area of action, managing the strategy and resources, both technical and economic assessment, for the processing of the offer and approval of the PI, by the client.
  • Centrally guarantee the reliability plans for the commercial services rolling stock maintained within their area of action, coordinating and approving the reliability plans for the rest of the rolling stock, technically validating the proposed measures.
  • Ensure technical support to other companies of the Renfe Group based on the agreements/contracts signed.
  • Establish the supervision plans and control criteria for the commercial services rolling stock within their area of action maintained by the Companies and Manufacturers, with the aim of establishing monitoring guidelines for subcontracting.
  • Ensure the correct management of hazard mitigation actions in which the risk assessment requires technical action guidelines.
  • Participate in significant and global-scope projects for the organization of Renfe Ingeniería y Mantenimiento and/or Renfe Operadora.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Risk Prevention policies so that all activities are carried out in the best safety and health conditions for workers and in accordance with the legislation in force.
  • Promote and support the proper implementation of the general policies of Renfe Ingeniería y Mantenimiento, relating to economic-financial, technical and human resources management that enable the achievement of the established objectives.

What we're looking for

  • Official University Degree, preferably in Engineering.
  • Professional experience of at least 5 years in team management and planning functions, in companies in the industrial sector, preferably in the field of industrial equipment maintenance.

Nice to have

  • Postgraduate training related to the industrial field and project management.
  • Experience in the railway sector.
  • Experience in the planning and execution of projects and/or production programs.
  • B2 level or higher of English, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

General requirements

The requirements that applicants must meet as of the end date of publication and which they must maintain at the time of formalizing the contract, in order to participate in the call for applications, are as follows:
