What You Can Expect:

At Rhenus, we are looking for a Distribution Coordinator to join our team in El Prat de Llobregat.

Your mission will be to lead, coordinate, and support the team in all distribution processes to ensure the proper functioning of the service, with the goal of providing personalized, high-quality service to our clients. The scope involves coordinating a team of 8 to 10 people.

What you'll do

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate, organize, and assign team tasks for the proper management of the service.

- Train newly hired personnel in the department.

- Make decisions and intervene in resolving incidents with clients and correspondents.

- Analyze situations and resolve incidents to provide an efficient and quality service.

- Download and analyze internal system information on supplier costs, analyze the results, and identify possible deviations and increases.

- Analyze and verify delivery and pickup KPIs.

- Analyze work processes and develop improvement proposals for system agility and the work team.

- Negotiate optimal vehicle costs annually with the corresponding agencies.

- Apply assigned procedures and controls regarding Compliance.

- Periodically collect evidence of the compliance and effectiveness of assigned controls and procedures regarding Compliance.

Education: Higher Degree or Bachelor's in Transport and Logistics / International Trade.

Basic skills: English B2 and Microsoft Office package.

Experience: 5 years.
