The role
What you'll do
Coordinate the activities specific to the Quality Control Laboratory according to the needs and priorities of the department.
Manage the water analysis area, managing OOS and deviations and ensuring their sampling and analysis.
Review of batch reports for in-process control testing and environmental monitoring.
Perform risk analyses for the qualification of new packaging rooms and qualification protocols for environmental monitoring.
Validations of microbiological and physicochemical analytical methods.
Ensure the correct sampling of materials, raw materials, or products if necessary for analysis or shipments to customers.
Ensure that raw materials, packaging material, intermediate product, and/or finished product are analyzed as indicated in the approved specifications and procedures.
Ensure that documentation is completed in a timely and proper manner, in compliance with regulations for the analysis and manufacturing of medicines and the quality system, comparing results and operations in the specific notebooks / LIMS.
Ensure compliance with Quality regulations and internal requirements of the company's Quality system.
Ensure compliance with the company's Quality System together with the rest of the department.
Management and follow-up of OOS investigations and/or deviations in which the Quality Control department is involved or must participate. Performance and review of department procedures.
Participate in the necessary training activities, both for Quality Control personnel and for other areas.
Perform supervision of the Quality Control laboratory equipment and facilities, including their compliance regarding calibration and/or qualification status, as well as communication to support departments.
Daily follow-up of activities performed, planning, and samples received in each shift, as well as during the overlap between them.
Investigate in a timely manner all results out of specification or deviations that occur in the area.
Participation in audits and self-inspections related to matters within their area.
