Management Control Manager

We are a Spanish pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and marketing of small molecules and biological medical products.

We likewise use our sales channels to market a number of licensed pharmaceutical products, imaging contrast agents and other products for hospital use, as well as OTC pharmaceuticals.

All of this is carried out through our specialized sales team formed by more than 260 people who promote the products with specialized medical professionals and in hospitals and pharmacies.

Supervise and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing process.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and other financial reports for senior management.
Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
Perform detailed financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Coordinate and supervise internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
Manage the annual budget and perform continuous monitoring of actual expenses versus budget.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, proposing corrective measures when necessary.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the alignment of financial objectives with operational strategies.
Ensure compliance with specific pharmaceutical sector regulations and standards.
Provide support and training to the finance team on financial control and management topics.

Supervisar y coordinar el proceso de cierre contable mensual, trimestral y anual.
Preparar y analizar los estados financieros y otros informes financieros para la alta dirección.
Desarrollar y mantener sistemas de control interno para salvaguardar los activos de la empresa y asegurar la integridad de los registros financieros.
Realizar análisis financieros detallados para apoyar la toma de decisiones estratégicas.
Coordinar y supervisar las auditorías internas y externas, asegurando el cumplimiento de las normativas contables y fiscales.
Gestionar el presupuesto anual y realizar un seguimiento continuo de los gastos reales versus el presupuesto.
Identificar y mitigar riesgos financieros, proponiendo medidas correctivas cuando sea necesario.
Colaborar con otros departamentos para asegurar la alineación de los objetivos financieros con las estrategias operativas.
Asegurar el cumplimiento de las normativas y regulaciones específicas del sector farmacéutico.
Proporcionar soporte y capacitación al equipo financiero en temas de control y gestión financiera.
