As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will have to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities through maintenance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting tasks. Additionally, you may collaborate on continuous improvement processes and the optimization of preventive maintenance, contributing to the reliability and safety of the plant.

What you'll do

  • Attend to and keep up to date the maintenance requests (work orders) made by the rest of the departments to the workforce, detecting the causes of problems and solving them in a timely manner
  • Inspect machines, motors, drives, panels, instrumentation... and execute diagnostic tests to detect operational problems
  • Replace components of machinery and facilities (sensors, switches, resistors...)
  • Cleaning and maintenance of electrical panels, ensuring respect for electrical diagrams
  • Report the details of each intervention in the system, as well as the materials used and the intervention hours, making good use of notifications
  • Maintain work areas in an optimal state of order and cleanliness
  • Evaluate PTWs jointly with the manager of the area in which the intervention will take place, ensuring that the agreed safety measures are met
  • Collaborate with initiatives and projects for the improvement of equipment and facilities, either in the design phase or in the implementation part
  • Propose improvements and/or corrections to maintenance plans to ensure the strengthening of preventive maintenance of the equipment, in order to achieve maximum reliability
  • Perform evaluations and failure analyses

Strategy and organizational development

  • Work while complying with the company's Quality, HSE, and Environmental standards
  • Be an active collaborator in the detection of incidents and anomalies

Management of suppliers and contractors

  • Provide support to subcontractors coming to assist with a breakdown or inspection
