Requirements

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience as a refrigeration technician in the maintenance and repair of Air Conditioning and HVAC

  • Experience with chiller plants (alternating, Scroll, and screw) and Rooftop equipment, as well as HVAC controls

  • Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and hydraulics.

  • Intermediate or Higher Degree in Refrigeration Installations

  • RITE (Thermal Installations) and/or RSIF license

  • Fluorinated Gas Handler license (any charge)

  • Occupational Risk Prevention certificate (60 h.). Trade-specific OHS certificate (6h) is valued

  • B driving license with all points

  • Bilingual/native level of Spanish

  • Work permit valid to work in Spain

The role

Role: HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic

As an HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Commissioning, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning equipment, chillers, heat pumps, rooftop units, geothermal systems, and AHUs; performing control tests on refrigeration systems and equipment to identify potential faults.

  • The replacement of compressors, evaporators, fans, and other components in Rooftop and Chiller type refrigeration equipment.

  • The handling of refrigerant and refrigeration accessories.

  • The timely delivery of field reports (worksheets, protocols...) with complete and high-quality data

  • The identification and ordering of necessary spare parts

  • Ensuring that a risk assessment is performed and documented before carrying out all works
