The Barcelona plant specializes in ETO (Engineering to Order) solutions within the Secure Power division, with a focus on prefabricated data centers and power modules. It offers complete solutions based entirely on Schneider Electric components, covering the entire project lifecycle, from the bidding and design phase to commissioning at the customer's site and subsequent maintenance.

In a context of exponential business growth and expansion of our facilities, we are looking to bring in a highly autonomous and motivated professional to join this strategic project. You will be part of a 6-person team within the Supply Chain, Procurement & Master Cost team, responsible for coordinating the end-to-end supply chain of the business, managing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers.

What you'll do

  • Analyze BOMs and cross-check them against purchase orders, available inventory, and material in transit to identify shortages and supply risks.
  • Perform the material readiness assessment for each project or production unit, ensuring that all critical components are available before the start of each manufacturing phase.
  • Generate and maintain material gap reports, identifying pending quantities, committed dates, and possible impacts on the production plan.
  • Coordinate daily with the Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Production teams to resolve supply incidents and guarantee operational continuity.
  • Translate the manufacturing plan into concrete material requirements, aligning component availability with committed production dates.
  • Create and release picking orders according to the manufacturing schedule, ensuring that the correct material is available at the required time and location.
  • Ensure full material availability for each production phase (structure, mechanical, electrical, integration, FAT, etc.), minimizing interruptions and line waits.
  • Monitor purchasing and shipping progress through supplier follow-up to anticipate deviations and activate corrective actions before they affect production.
  • Maintain the accuracy of master data related to material planning, BOMs, and picking orders within the ERP.
  • Develop performance indicators related to material availability, production plan compliance, shortages, and picking efficiency.
  • Participate in daily follow-up meetings, providing visibility on material risks and mitigation plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing material readiness, kitting, picking, and production supply processes.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in material planning, production, or supply chain in discrete manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working with complex product structures (multilevel BOMs) and Engineer-to-Order / Make-to-Order manufacturing projects.
  • Experience in industrial environments with a high number of references and mechanical, electrical, and integration components.
  • Solid knowledge of MRP processes, material planning, and inventory.
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, picking, kitting, and supply to production lines.
  • Experience working with ERP (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, or equivalent).
  • Advanced Excel level for data analysis and material reconciliation.
  • Autonomy, results orientation, and continuous improvement.
