The Payroll Consultant is responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This role requires in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and complex payroll scenarios.

What you'll do

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and adhere to procedures and schedules.

  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, pension plans, and other deductions.

  • Ensure payroll procedures are kept up to date for each client.

  • Perform an initial check of payroll preparations provided by other team members.

  • Prepare administrative formalities related to files, such as reconciliation/validation of payroll taxes and CCSS invoices, for administrations and clients.

  • Manage year-end tasks – salary certificates, verification of closing books and FRI, annual tax reconciliation, etc.

  • Respond to client requests and resolve issues related to payslips, deductions, and payroll policies.

  • Stay up to date on labor laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements, and ensure adherence to them.

  • Follow and apply ISAE certification procedures – planning, delta reporting, shared mailbox.

  • Build client loyalty by being attentive to their needs and proposing internal service solutions.
