Requirements

What we're looking for

• Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in Mechanics, Electricity, Electromechanics, Pneumatics, or similar, or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

• High knowledge of mechanics, and a solid foundation in industrial electricity and pneumatics.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in IT tools and the Office suite.

• Analytical, decisive person with initiative.

• Ability to work in a team and good communication with different departments.

The role

At Smurfit Westrock, in our Ibi plant specializing in the manufacture of Bag in Box packaging, we continue to grow and commit to continuous improvement… and we want to count on you!

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our bag manufacturing section. If you enjoy troubleshooting faults, improving equipment, and working in a dynamic industrial environment, this could be your opportunity.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and solve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults in the production machines.

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of the equipment.

• Analyze incidents and propose improvements to increase the productivity and reliability of the facilities.

• Collaborate with Production in resolving technical problems that affect machine operation.

• Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization projects.

• Record the interventions carried out and monitor the actions taken.

• Collaborate in the management of non-conformities related to the production process.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
