What we're looking for
What we need
- One to three years in campus recruitment, career services, student engagement, community management, partnerships, events or recruitment marketing. Which of those matters less than having run the thing yourself.
- AI native, demonstrated rather than claimed. You use models daily and you build what you need without waiting to be shown: a drafting pass for campus messaging, a tracker that pulls your channel numbers together, a way of handling the question that arrives fifty times a term.
- Fluent English, used daily with students, universities and ambassadors across markets.
- Relationship management that holds up with students, societies, career services staff and ambassadors, none of whom report to you.
- Comfort keeping several channels current at once and knowing at any point how each is performing.
- The initiative to come back with a better channel or a better activity rather than with the list you were given.
- Availability to travel occasionally across Europe for on-campus recruitment and professional events.
- Barcelona preferred. If you are not there yet, willing to relocate after the probation period.
The role
Sovrano's project work only runs if enough of the right students and graduates find it. This role is the one that makes that happen on the ground: the channels they arrive through, the campuses they come from, the ambassadors who tell them, and the partnership that puts the opportunities in front of them. Sovrano AI sells expert capacity. Frontier AI models are limited now by how much verifiable expert human judgment can be pointed at them, and Europe has the experts without having the companies that put them to work. Sovrano recruits and verifies domain experts through 100 or more partner universities across Europe, a network of 400,000 or more professionals covering 23 languages and holding EFMD certification, then puts them to work on the data that trains and evaluates frontier models. Clients are frontier AI labs, robotics companies and enterprise AI teams across Europe and the United States. Sovrano runs its own European executive benchmark, EuroExec, and is funded by a round led by b2venture. The University Partnerships Lead owns the university network end to end and sets which campuses and which events matter. This role owns the day-to-day underneath that: turning hiring needs into channel plans and attribution links, writing the message that lands with students, organising Sovrano's presence at career fairs and on-campus events, and being the person universities, student societies and career services deal with week to week. It is also the main operational contact with CareerOS, aligned on what gets published, how it is promoted and how it performs. A campus ambassador community sits inside the role, and so do the numbers: applicant traction is watched by campaign and by channel, and part of the job is saying where to put more and where to stop. The work runs on an academic calendar and on the clock of a fast growing company at once. Event weeks are long, travel across Europe comes up at short notice, and several channels and several universities are live at the same time. Keeping all of them current is the job rather than a distraction from it.
What you'll do
What you own
- Translate hiring needs into channel plans, attribution links, and student-facing messaging across relevant student communities and platforms.
- Monitor applicant traction by campaign and channel (in collaboration with the Community team as needed) and use insights to recommend where to scale up or pull back activity.
- Coordinate application-related questions and support candidates who contact the University Partnerships team directly.
- Support the University Partnerships Lead in selecting target on-campus recruitment events; once priorities are set, coordinate and organise Sovrano's participation.
- Attend selected on-campus recruitment events and career fairs, with occasional travel, representing Sovrano to students and the broader community.
- Act as the day-to-day operational contact for selected universities, student societies, and career services.
- Serve as the main day-to-day operational contact for Sovrano AI and Career OS, aligning on publication, promotion, and performance tracking of Sovrano AI opportunities.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a campus ambassador community at selected universities; set expectations, share briefs and content, track participation and referrals, gather feedback, and recommend improvements to grow and strengthen the programme.
- Propose improvements to campus messaging, event presence, and ambassador activations; collaborate with the marketing team on student-facing content and support careers-site, social, and recruitment-marketing materials.
