  • Ensure stable, repeatable, and predictable deployments with rollback mechanisms and a minimum number of manual steps;

  • Maintain web infrastructure: Nginx, SSL/TLS, reverse proxy, routing, Cloudflare, DNS, caching, and basic security rules;

  • Implement and maintain security practices for Linux and web infrastructure: hardening, access control, updates, vulnerability remediation;
  • Document infrastructure solutions, deployment workflows, configurations, and important changes;
  • Coordinate production changes with the team, warn about risks, and do not make critical changes without transparent communication;
  • Proactively identify weaknesses in deployment, infrastructure, and application architecture that could lead to instability, and initiate their resolution.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience administering Linux servers in a production environment (systemd, networking, firewall, SSH, logging, storage, processes, performance troubleshooting);
  • Solid understanding of network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, WebSockets, reverse proxy, routing, network troubleshooting);
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and docker-compose (runtime environments, networking, volumes, debugging, optimization);

  • Experience automating infrastructure and configurations (Ansible);
  • Experience with Nginx (reverse proxy, SSL, routing, deploying web applications);
  • Understanding of SRE principles: reliability, observability, incident response, root cause analysis;
  • Experience with monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Promtail, Sentry, or similar) and building alerting strategies;
  • Basic/intermediate experience administering MySQL/PostgreSQL (backup/restore, monitoring, troubleshooting);
  • Understanding of Linux and web infrastructure security best practices (hardening, access control, SSL/TLS, patching, vulnerability handling);
  • Strong troubleshooting skills: problem localization, root cause analysis, preventive actions;
  • Independence and ownership in handling infrastructure tasks end-to-end;
  • English at Intermediate (B1) level or higher.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms;
