The Procurement Excellence Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks associated with the organisation's key suppliers and vendors, while also driving the organisation's sustainable procurement agenda.
This role ensures that new third-party suppliers are assessed and scored based on their risk profile and risk score, and leads the implementation of ISO 20400 sustainable procurement standards, ESG integration, and sustainability performance monitoring across the supply chain.
Strong data analysis capabilities are central to this role to identify risk trends and provide strategic decision-making information.
Equally important are excellent communication skills, as the manager must effectively engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders - including procurement, legal, compliance, senior leadership, and external vendors - to align risk management and sustainability initiatives with organisational goals.
The manager will work closely with cross-functional departments to establish and maintain strong risk management strategies related to external vendors, whilst embedding sustainability principles throughout the procurement lifecycle and supporting the maintenance of sustainability accreditations such as EcoVadis Platinum.
