AP Junior Accountant

• ⏰ Flexible schedule: Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 18:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 13:00.

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar.

• Minimum experience of 2 years.

• Accounting knowledge, especially related to accounts payable.

• High level of Excel (mandatory).

• Ability to organize and manage priorities.

• Attention to detail and rigor in the recording and review of information.

• Proactivity and initiative.

• Motivation to learn and develop in the accounts payable area.

• Knowledge of SAP is valued.

We are looking for an AP Junior Accountant to join the finance department of a company in the residential rental sector, for a project located in Madrid and in a 100% on-site modality.

• Perform bank reconciliations of the managed companies' accounts, identifying differences and following up on items pending reconciliation.

• Review and record supplier invoices, verifying their correct accounting imputation, assignment to the corresponding company, and compliance with the approval circuit.

• Monitor purchase orders, checking their correspondence with received invoices and coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and unblock incidents.

• Participate in the approval and onboarding of suppliers, collecting and reviewing the necessary documentation and collaborating in the maintenance of their data in the system.

• Provide support to the audit process, attending to requests for documentation and information related to accounts payable and preparing supporting documents for invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

• Collaborate in the preparation and review of payment proposals, checking due dates, approvals, and supporting documentation.

• Handle inquiries and incidents from suppliers and internal teams related to invoices, orders, and payment status, escalating incidents when appropriate.

• Provide support for the accounting close, collaborating in the reconciliation of supplier balances, review of pending items, and identification of invoices pending receipt or recording.
