Job description

We are looking for a Data Architect to join a strategic project within the Banco de España, participating in transformation and modernization initiatives for high-impact data platforms.

The selected person will be responsible for the design, definition, and evolution of scalable data architectures, working with cutting-edge Big Data technologies and collaborating with engineering, analytics, and data governance teams.

This is a key position within the organization's data ecosystem, participating in projects of corporate scope and high visibility.

• Design and evolve modern, scalable, and data-oriented data architectures.

• Define data models, integration flows, and storage strategies.

• Lead architectural decisions related to Big Data platforms and advanced analytics.

• Design Databricks-based solutions for massive data processing.

• Define standards, patterns, and best practices for data architecture.

• Participate in data governance, quality, and information lifecycle management initiatives.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, and Data Governance teams.

• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of data platforms.
